Celebrating International Dog Day

Celebrated annually, the International Dog Day is celebrated on August 26, 2023 worldwide. As the Kenya Small Companion Animal Veterinary Association (KESCAVA), we are taking this celebration to a whole new level.

Grab your furry friends, put on your biggest smiles, and join us at Bahati Primary School, Tezo, as we crown the 2^nd AFSCAN & 3^rd KESCAVA Congress that’s been the talk of the town since August 23^rd at Sarova Whitesands Beach and Resort, Mombasa.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., we will be honoring our four-legged companions, spreading awareness about responsible pet ownership, and providing some much-needed tender loving care to our fur babies.

Here’s a sneak peek into what else you can expect:

·         Spay/Neuter Services: We believe in giving every dog a chance to live their best life, and that’s why we’re offering free spay/neuter services. It’s not just about controlling the population; it’s about ensuring the health and happiness of every pup out there. By opting for this service, you’re contributing to a healthier and happier dog community. A small step for you, a giant leap for your dog. ·         Rabies Vaccinations: Health comes first, and we’ve got your furry friend’s back. Protecting your dog from diseases like rabies is crucial for their well-being and for the safety of the entire community. Our experts will be on-site to administer free rabies shots, ensuring that your beloved pets stay safe and sound.

·         Farmer Education & Animal Treatments: It’s not just about the pets in our homes; it’s about every dog that makes a difference in our lives. Our farmer education sessions will empower those who work closely with dogs to provide them with the best care possible. Additionally, we’ll be offering free animal treatments, because every tail that wags deserves some love too.This International Dog Day celebration isn’t just a one-day affair.
